The table comes first
In Louisiana, hospitality isn't a service standard. It's a reflex. You cook more than you need because somebody always shows up, and nobody leaves without a plate.
Our Story
Brass Line Seasonings is a modern expression of Louisiana culinary culture: the food, the rhythm, the hospitality and the flavor that announces itself.

02
Onions and bell pepper hitting hot oil. A roux going dark. Rice steaming under a lid. Sunday dinner is the most reliable ritual in the state, and it runs on seasoning.
03
Boils are community events. Newspaper on the table, a pot big enough for the whole block, and food you eat standing up with your hands. Flavor gets shared the same way music does.
04
A brass line layers instruments until the sound is bigger than any one player. A Louisiana pot layers heat, herbs, smoke and time until the food does the same thing.

"In Louisiana, flavor doesn't whisper. It announces itself."

The Founder
For Sareena Stevenson, Brass Line Seasonings is more than a collection of spices. It's a love letter to Louisiana.
Born from a deep appreciation for Louisiana's food, culture, music, and unmistakable way of bringing people together, Sareena created Brass Line Seasonings with one goal: to bottle the kind of flavor that makes people remember where they were, who was at the table, and who cooked the food.
As an entrepreneur and lifelong creator, Sareena has built businesses around taking an idea and turning it into an experience. Brass Line began the same way — with a vision.
She wanted to create a seasoning company that felt unmistakably Louisiana before you ever opened the bottle.
The inspiration came from the rhythm of Louisiana itself: brass bands filling the streets, umbrellas dancing above a second line, Sunday dinners that somehow turn into family gatherings, crawfish boils where everybody pulls up a chair, and recipes that aren't always written down because somebody learned them standing beside a mother, grandmother, auntie, or uncle in the kitchen.
That became the soul of Brass Line.
Like the instruments in a brass band, every ingredient has a part to play. Some bring heat. Some bring smoke. Some bring herbs, richness, or depth. But when they're blended correctly, they create something entirely different together.
A flavor with rhythm.
Sareena wanted that philosophy reflected throughout the collection. That's why each Brass Line blend has its own personality — from Classic Creole and Bayou Gold to the smoky character of Cajun After Dark, the heat of Bayou Heat, the comfort of Sunday Dinner Blend, and the unmistakably Louisiana Crawfish Flavor Bomb.
But her vision extends beyond Louisiana.
Sareena created Brass Line for the experienced cook who seasons by instinct, the person learning their way around a kitchen, and everyone in between. You shouldn't need twenty bottles in your cabinet or someone's secret family recipe to put deeply seasoned, memorable food on the table.
You just need the right blend.
And although Brass Line may eventually find its way into kitchens far beyond the South, Sareena intends for every bottle to carry a little piece of home with it.
The music. The food. The people. The gathering. The celebration.
That's Brass Line Seasonings.
Bold Flavors. Rich Heritage. Seasoned to Celebrate.™
